ISO tracks
Stable or Edge: pick what fits.
Both tracks install the same Abora OS. The difference is when you get updates and how the version is labeled.
Stable ISO
Major and minor releases only
A new Stable ISO is only published when a major or minor version ships. Each release is tested, tagged, and archived. This is the recommended track for most users.

Rolling · date-versioned
Edge builds are published on a rolling basis and versioned by date, for example 2026.07.01. You get fixes and improvements as soon as they land, without waiting for a major release.

One ISO, two roles. Coming soon.
Abora LTS isn't out yet and there's no release date set, but it's now targeting around v5 rather than sooner. The plan is a single image where you choose Server or Workstation during setup.
LTS Server
Infrastructure, admin access, and managed system work. Minimal desktop footprint.
LTS Workstation
Managed desktop installs. Same LTS base, full desktop environment.

Flash and boot
Write the ISO to a USB drive and boot it. The installer starts automatically.
Follow the wizard
Guided install: network, identity, desktop, GPU driver, apps, options, disk, confirm.

Community poll
Would you actually run Abora LTS if it shipped today?
It's technically close to release-ready, there are just some bugs left to work through. Whether it's worth pushing that last stretch depends partly on whether anyone would use it. No account, nothing stored except your own choice on this device.
Community poll
If not LTS, would you use Abora Gaming on Steam Deck?
Imagine Abora optimized specifically for gaming: curated gaming desktops, performance tweaks, built-in Steam Deck support, and gaming-first configurations. Would that be something you'd run? Especially interested in handheld gaming device users.
