Thank you for 2,006+ Abora OS installs

When we released Abora OS v4 Everest, I knew it was the biggest release we had ever worked on. I just didn’t expect it to be this big.

Everest has officially passed 2,000 downloads across its five main editions.

That number means a lot more to me than just a counter on GitHub. Every download represents someone who decided to give Abora a chance to boot the ISO, test it on their hardware, install it, break something, report something, recommend it to somebody else, or just see what we’ve been building.

Everest was a huge step forward for Abora: five editions, more desktop choices, ANIX v2, Abora Gaming, improved hardware support, and a safer installation experience. It took a lot to get here, and there were definitely moments where things did not go according to plan.

But people kept downloading it.

And the community kept growing.

So seriously, thank you. Thank you so much.

Whether you downloaded KDE, COSMIC, GNOME, Hyprland, Other, tested an early build, reported a bug, shared Abora with somebody, or have just been watching the project develop from the sidelines — you helped get us here.

2,000 downloads isn’t the summit.

It’s another point on the climb.
